Important notice for authors

The authors of accepted Long/Short papers are required to register for the AVI 2024 conference by April 9, 2024 in order that the paper can be included in the Conference Proceeding, published in the ACM Digital Library (ICPS).

For authors of Poster/Demo/DC papers, the registration deadline is extended to April 14, 2024.

Instructions for uploading the camera-ready version, the source files and the Rights form will be sent to the authors by email.

Fees

Only workshops/tutorial (Two days: June 3 and 4, 2024)

Workshops/tutorial registration grants access to all workshops and tutorials scheduled on both June 3 and 4.


Only conference

Only conference registration grants access to all the conference sessions (not workshops), the welcome reception on June 5, and the social dinner on June 6.


Full registration: Two days workshops/tutorial + conference

Full registration grants access to all workshos/tutoral, conference sessions, the welcome reception on June 5, and the social dinner on June 6.


**Please note that the Fees above do not include VAT 22%**

According to the Italian Fiscal Law, VAT is requested in the following cases:


However, if the invoice is headed to a University (Italy excluded) there is no requirement to pay VAT (VAT registration number of University will be a compulsory field only for EU).


VAT Exemption

Important Notice for Participants from the European Union (excluding Italy) and Non-EU Countries.

Before beginning the registration process, please note that it is compulsory to select the "VAT Exemption" checkbox (found in the registration form after choosing the fee) under the following circumstances:

If you are paying the registration fee using your University's credit card (not a personal card).

If you require an advance invoice for your University, which will be paid by your University via bank transfer.

Please be aware that universities and companies from European countries (excluding Italy) and non-European countries are subject to VAT non-applicability (reverse charge). Therefore, the registration fee must be invoiced without VAT, but only in the two situations mentioned above.


IMPORTANT: all accepted papers (conference and workshops) should be associated to a proper (i.e., not student) registration. Student registration should be accompanied by a proper certification of the student status (copy of the University card, letter signed by the advisor on letterhead). Student registrations are not acceptable for presenting authors, i.e., if the only author attending the event and presenting the paper is a student, s/he need to register in the normal category.
